How We Started
 
 
It started out with a couple of friends who wanted to get the garbage out of their diets.  All of us ate very well, but we all had exceptions, concessions, and excuses for or bad choices - mainly sugar!  So two friends decided that they were going to commit to 90 days to shred the garbage out, and they asked two more to join in.  Without hesitation the group was now four plus their husbands.  Rules were established and negotioated and without looking back we plunged in excited for the adventure. . . little did we know that among our friends there was a quiet unrest just waiting to be awakened.  Everywhere we started talking about and sharing our plan people were excited.  They wanted to know more, and they wanted to join.  8 became 16, became 40,  60, to over 100 in just a few weeks.
 
 
What is the Shred
 
 
90 day shred with friends is a commitment to get sugar and processed food out of your diet.  It is a reset and re-learn button for your entire body.  We break it down into 3(30) day increments that accumulate upon each other.  The rules will explain in detail each of these stages, but in a nutshell the first 30 days you remove all sugar and any artificial sweeteners from your diet.  Only fruit is allowed.  The next 30 days is no sugar and no alcohol, and the last 30 days is no sugar, no alcohol, and no refined or processed carbohydrates.  Again see The Rules for a complete breakdown on what is and isn't allowed.
